Welcome to The Blue Horizon - a gentle, spacious collection of 21 solo piano pieces, composed over the last 2 years. I created this album in 3 parts – 3 “suites” of music, which were composed in 3 vastly different settings. Each was a unique and beautiful journey, and each one opened up a new dimension in my music...
Suite #1 – The Awakening was composed when I moved to First Bay on the Sunshine Coast, Australia.
Suite #2 – The Experience was composed when I journeyed to the Simpson Desert in Outback Australia.
Suite #3 – The Knowing was composed in the mountains, forests and coastal areas of the northern coast of NSW, Australia.

I can't lie, creating an album is an intense experience! It is joyful, consuming, rewarding, uplifting and also downright scary! It brings up your greatest insecurities as an artist: Will people like it? Will people get it? Will it be as good as what I've done before?
I stressed over all of the above at different times… but in the end I went back to the same criteria I have always used. I have to fall in love with a piece of music I’ve created first. If I don't, you will probably never hear it.
As explained above, I created this album in 3 parts - 3 “suites” of music – all of which involved some very special creative journeys and retreats in some truly amazing and beautiful places.
So I now invite you to explore “The Blue Horizon”. I hope you’ll be calmed, be moved and be inspired. My sincere thanks and gratitude to all of you who have continued to follow my adventures... and to listen to my music.
