This album was inspired by inspired by my early childhood, spent in the tiny rainforest village of Kuranda, in the tropical North of Australia. The Music for Solo Piano I created for “Magic” embodies the cascade of waterfalls, the silence of the rainforest and the music of the monsoons… captured in a series of tranquil and uplifting piano melodies. On several of the tracks I've also blended in soft and beautiful “Enya-style” vocal effects by guest vocalist and fellow North Queensland artist Julie Mercer.
