I call my album Lifted music to “calm the mind and lift the spirit” … music for Solo Piano which is relaxing in mood and yet gently uplifting and energizing at the same time. The creative journey to produce Lifted began in Hawaii, where as well as the beautiful scenery, I was inspired by the lovely harmonics of traditional Hawaiian music. I also composed music in the vast red deserts of Arizona, before the album came to completion closer to home high up in the Sunshine Coast's picturesque Blackall Ranges.
